With the help of our uniquely trained staff, we offer compassionate, growth-driven workshops on a regular basis. Catholic Social Services of Rapid City recognizes the profound impact education has on our youth and is committed to providing educational resources to youth in our communities to provide for a better tomorrow.
Drug & Alcohol Prevention
Our youth have always been at risk for drug and alcohol use. The short and long-term effects can be devastating. Our educational workshops for adolescents will identify warning signs and help equip our youth with information and skills to help them live a healthy life. Relevant church teaching can also be included in the presentation.

Cherish the gift of life (teen Suicide Prevention)
Who is at risk? What are the do’s and don’ts of prevention? Where can you turn for help? This talk can be tailored to address any community. (1 to 2 hours)

If you have a topic that you would like covered in your parish, school, or office, our therapists can work with you to develop a workshop to meet your needs. Our therapists can help develop strategies and techniques for use in your community. Recent research and/or relevant church teachings can be included.
